Rough self-employed fee simulator

Move the slider according to your estimated monthly net income (revenue minus expenses) and compare the flat-rate fee with the bracket-based fee you'd pay afterward. Figures illustrative: the current, official figure is always at sede.seg-social.gob.es.

With the flat-rate fee (months 1-12) €87/month Fixed fee, doesn't depend on how much you bill this first year.
After the flat-rate fee (by bracket) €291/month Depending on the bracket that matches that net income.

Rough simulation for educational purposes. It doesn't replace Social Security's official simulator or advice from a gestoría (tax and admin advisor).

Procedures checklist: choose your path

Check off each step as you complete it; your progress is saved in this browser. The Punto de Atención al Emprendedor (CIRCE / PAE system) lets you handle most of the steps for registering as self-employed or setting up an SL online, for free, in a single submission (the Documento Único Electrónico, or DUE), including reserving the company name and filing the deed with the Companies Registry.

The fastest, cheapest way to start invoicing: no minimum capital, no notary, generally up and running in 1-3 days.

Frequently asked questions

Can I do the whole procedure myself, without a gestoría?

Yes. Both registering as self-employed and setting up an SL (with standard bylaws, via CIRCE) can be done without a gestoría. Many people prefer to delegate it to reduce the margin of error, but it's not mandatory.

Does Guía Autónomo have affiliate links?

No. This is an informational site about legal and tax procedures (YMYL) and it includes no affiliate links. Outbound links to official bodies and providers are neutral. The site is funded by contextual advertising (Google AdSense).

Does this content replace a gestor or tax advisor?

No. It's general information so you arrive better prepared for that conversation. Every personal situation (activity, income, assets) has nuances worth reviewing with a professional before making decisions.
